A string magician and artiste on bells and rattles
Jörg Nassler performs his guitar journey “From Andalusia to West Africa”
Sections of the review:
“… three musicians, who simply enthused their audience for two hours in a sold out venue”
“Jörg Nassler created amazing magic on various string instruments, baffled with ingenious arrangements and how he artistically and wittily handled numerous bells, rattles, drums, flutes as well as his astonishing perfection on the synthesizer…Terrific.”
“…not only an unbelievable rhythmical talent, exceptionally gifted virtuoso, delicate composer and arranger but also a talented entertainer…”
“The evening ended with a heart warming duo Nassler and Dunja Averdung, whose voice does not rank behind the guitar play of Nassler…”
September 2006
Sections of the review:
“Wonderful things like “42 Grad” (42 degrees) or “5 vor 8” (5 to 8)…make you dream away.”
“The surprising vocal qualities of Dunja Averdung made “Rosarito“ sound even more beautiful I find.”
“The way Jörg Nassler weaves his created sounds matches the way Dunja Averdung creates pictures by playing with colours.”
“Both - pictures and music are similarly complex and appealing and it seems no coincident that the two people, who created those things, met.”

Haffzeitung:
German-Mexican guitar duo enthuses
Ueckermünde: Miguel de Hoyos has changed. His hair got shorter and he has become even more likable. What hasn’t changed is the enthusiasm of the audience for this man, the church this time was even more crowded, almost brimful. Each corner of the chapel was engrossed. It’s been almost two years since the Mexican guitar virtuoso gave his first concert in Ueckermünde.
This time a German and a Mexican as a guitar duo - you’ve got to be curious. The suspense was resolved quickly by Jörg Nassler and Miguel de Hoyos, because the Dresdner could compete entirely with the temperament and the voice of the Mexican - well almost entirely. The voice of de Hoyos was not to be surpassed by a German. It became an evening, unforgettable until the next one in two years.
